This study is to find out if taking Vortioxetine is better than taking fluoxetine or placebo.  Vortioxetine is approved for adults with depression and we are trying to determine if it should be prescribed for children/adolescents.

• Children aged 7-17
• Looking for children diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder
• No other psychiatric diagnosis
